Our first collection is an ode to the memories of our designer’s hometown, a small village nestled on the border of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar called BALLIA.
The spirit of this collection is derived from the brick and eggshell homes where she grew up. This collection comprises of three colours, Koyala, Eenta and Raakh, the primary palette of her paternal home.
Spaces with accents of contrast bold lines, A play on negative space with bricks, Rough white lines and motifs drawn with fingers on walls which tell the stories of its inhabitants.
The natural colour of brick ageing beautifully with time, Stapu blocks drawn on the floor with broken pieces of कुल्हड़, Almost indifferent, Devoid of pretence, Raw in nature,Sated in its simplicity.
This collection features an essence of warm comfort, carefully crafted with handmade Block Prints and subtle Kantha highlights on humble cottons, a playful gaze on colour and shapes.
